I’m going to Ukraine!

Hey there my small number of readers that, rightfully so, only rarely follow a link posted on a social networking the small number of times I may update this pitiful excuse of a blog site.  However bitter-sweet it may be, I am so excited about my upcoming summer! Sadly, I will not be at Camp Grace again this summer, but the good news is it is because I will be spending those months on a mission trip to the Ukraine!  It is easily the best requirement I have received for my Intercultural Ministries degree and the one I am most looking forward to.

I have finally created my informational/fundraising letter of sorts that I am attaching below, and will happily mail anyone a hard copy that would like one – please just let me know!  First and foremost I want to ask for your prayer in the days ahead as I navigate through plans on preparing for this 10 week trip.  If you want to be on my Prayer Team, then I will add you to a group on my email and you will receive regular semi-hopefully-optamistically-regular updates on how fundraising and other preparations are going, as well as updates on how ministry is going while I am in Ukraine.  If you would like to be on my Financial Team to help me get to Ukraine I will be eternally grateful!! I have to raise $4500 before I leave in May and half of that must be in before a plane ticket can be purchased.  I know the Lord will prove faithful here, and am excited to watch how he fulfills that.  There is a “DONATE” link on the ride sidebar of my blog here where you can safely donate directly to me through paypal.  If you would like to donate directly to my account at World Gospel Mission and receive a tax deduction for your gift, you can give a check made out to WGM to me and I can turn it in for you, or you can mail it in to them with an index card with my name on it so that it gets into my account.
